In response to numerous requests, we are currently working on a new initiative called “My Tree in Israel”. The concept is to enable every Jew, young and old alike, regardless of their means, to take part in something, even on a small scale. The project consists of a 65,000-square-meter farm where 12,000 grapevines will be planted, and any Jew around the world will be able to buy a grapevine, or one for each of his children, etc. The grapevine tree will allow every individual to carry out the mitzvahs performed on grapevines, and entitle him to a bottle of wine from the vineyard following the third orlah year. He can then recite a blessing over fine wine through which the buyer was able to fulfill all of the mitzvahs that apply to a vineyard.
